Oh no. You will still get clients in a pedi-spa! They don't know any better! They just want to feel pampered. They don't know the risks involved until it is too late. They also don't care a whit about the rules and regulations that you have to follow. They just assume that everyone does without concern.
Those new steam pedi systems are definitely worth looking into! They are heavenly to sit in (did so at a show) and the risk is way lower (almost non-existant) and at the moment steam technology is very "in" and popular to clean anything!

Hon, I didn't mean to be negative in any way. I hope I didn't upset you!

Just as a non-pro, I looked at the Red Dragon Steam Pedicure Sauna, and it sure looked elegant!

(and the Footsie bath looked a lot safer than the pedi-spas, that's for certain)

Oh no haha, Vietnamese moms always stubborn. I'm fine thank you. No worry!

I get the feeling that Vietnamese Nail Salon like using Pedicure spa and American Nail salon like using bowls. So it's really up to the clients huh?

I have been using the tootsie bath for a few years now and my cllients love it. I bought a really comfortable chair and built a platform to putbit up on. It works great and my clients know its clean. Also a famous nail salon in California called The Painted Nail uses them.

To be honest i advertise the fact that i don't have bubbling and swirling water in my stainless steel pedicure basins. And im proud that i didn't follow the other salons over the cliff in installing impossible to clean, breakdown prone, high cost, jetted basins! My clients love the extra level of cleanlyness i offer and insist on in the salon. A great longer than normal foot massage and nice service products with attention to their pedi needs win them over every time!! Good luck with your decision!

I think that these days, a lot more people are learning about all the risks of nail salons, I know that I've had a lot of friends who have found out on their own and now won't do use a pedi spa chair. And these are friends that only get it like once a year, the word is getting out about these!

So, I think that could be a good advertising push on your part if you go with something else, if you'll be allowed to Just as "besthands" is able to promote her business because of sanitary conditions and simply caring for your clients more than other places do.
