Will I have enough time to open up a nail salon business (partnership) while in...
...pharmacy school? I'm 20 yrs old and I've been doing nails since I was 15...But I am interested in applying to pharmacy school after I finish up my prerequisites. I'm in my second yr in community college and I just took chem I while working part time in a nail salon [friday to sundays] making about $300 not including tips. I heard pharmacy school is time consuming and demand alot of my time b/c I know a girl that is in pharmacy school right now and she works every other weekend @ a local pharmacy while in school. I know that I wouldn't be able to make as much money/or work as much at the nail salon when I get in the 4 yr program. So, I'm planning to partner up w/2 ppl to open up my own nail salon... But do you think it is possible to open up a business, while I'm in pharmacy school? And is it really true that pharmacy is really time demanding?
I have gone to college full time and worked full time jobs before and let me just tell you it is a lot of work. I was in community college, where the calsses are much easier than when you get to your junior or senior year of college. I was also working a very easy mindless job and it was still VERY difficult. I was often choosing going to bed instead of dinner from pure exhaustion. I also tried managing a clothing store while starting out my junior year of college and it was impossible, I had to end up giving up my management position and dropping some classes. I hope this helps.
