i wanted to no what watt uv lamp can use for drying nail polish? i paint my nails alot and i can never sit still long enough for them to dry. so i wanted to use a uv light to dry the nail polish fast but im not sure as to what watt i should use?
I answered this in your other post--uv lamps only work on gel polishes or gel designed to work with uv--NOT on standard polish.
One might try to use a Hair Dryer for drying off Hair Polish. Although have never used an hair dryer for drying off nail, just am asking for the sake of reference as to whether it can used or not.... ?
Yes, a hair dryer on its' low setting can be used to dry polish, but time is really the only thing causes the chemical reactions needed to fully cure standard polish. You can try some drying drops on chemical sprays that are available like "Drip Dry", 'DeMert" or "Solar Speed Spray", but it will only dry the enamel to the touch. It will still be dentable for up to 24 hours.
I agree ... try with Led Lamps. Initial cost is a little high but it is worth buying! You will probebly never need to buy another one. It's also good for your skin!

LED will make no difference.
1. Standard polish only hardens by air, it needs certain photoinitiators in it to make it cure with uv light waves.
2. LED gives off uv light waves just like standard uv tube lights--just in a more energy efficient way. So it is no better or worse for your skin than standard UV Lamps.
While it is true UV lamps won't cure regular nail polish, some UV lights do have just a fan feature, in which no UV light is on only the fan is and it does dry your nails. My UV light has this feature and I use it all the time to dry my nails. It has a timer too which is nice.
Plus UV lights are cheaper than LED....even with a fan feature.
Not just lights, LED lights, but the use of UV, the effective wavelength with the intensity of ultraviolet radiation should be considered when purchasing.
