I just got a french manicure (gel; and YES I did put it under the UV light so I know they didn't rip me off). I got it a week and a half ago and I'm tired of the plain white tips. Can I paint them with a nail polish then take off the nail polish with nail polish remover later or will it mess up the gels? Thanks!

Nope, if every single layer was cured in a uv lamp, then you can put polish on and remove it with regular remover as many times as you want.

Agree with Claudia....just do not use remover with acetone, as acetone will break down the gel.

I have been doing my own gel nail for over 2 years and I also do my own nail art and I change my manicure every week....not a problem.
