Default Will soaking my fake nails in acetone (nail polish remover) to remove excess

dried glue ruin them? I want to re-apply the nails, but there's already a lot of glue stuck on and I want off to reuse the nails that fit instead of buying a new pack of nails

It will endeed, just make sure it's 100% Acetone and just let your nails soak in a shallow bowl...it make take about 10-15 to for it to start to melt away, but it does work =) You may also want to use a fine grit nail filer to rub over your nails throughout the process. Afterwards, be sure to use a nice moisturizer on your hands, applying to your nails as well to ensure hydration is restored. Hope this helps!

Yes it will melt the nails as well as the glue. You will have to purchase new ones.

Unfortunately you cannot remove the glue from the plastic tips without ruining them! You will have to purchase new ones and make sure you use less glue next time :-)
