Default What type of false nails should I get?

I have quite fragile nails naturally - the whites don't usually grow much more than about 3-4 millimetres. Seen as school will start soon, I want to get some sort of false nails - I've tried DIY tips and the whole nail version - they are out of the question for me because they tend to break off very easily, and too soon. So, I am looking for more durable options - somewhere around 2-4 weeks. I don't plan to get them done again after they come off, so it doesn't have to be the healthiest option out there, though it would be nice if it didn't make my nails crooked or dented.
Also, I would appreciate some information on how to keep them nice for that time too - I don't want to end up with a nasty nail infection.
I also don't want to spend much more than 25 pounds on them (I know that's very cheap, but I've seen places that do acrylics for about 20.)
Thanks

i have acrylic nails and have had them for over two years i go for infills every two weeks and ive never had a problem. i paid £27 the first time and now its £15 every two weeks. to keep them nice use rubber gloves when doing anything with water, don't soak them too long in the bath, after you've had them on a week use a coat of "sally Hansen's" teflon coating clear top coat. ive also had gel nails but couldn't get on with them at all, they came off after about three days and were a waste of money. talking of money, cheapest is not always bad but do your homework. ask friends/relatives where they have been and if they've been pleased.or if you see someone who has nice nails ask where they have them done, they wont mind. loads of people are always asking me! please don't go anywhere where they wear face masks. this is because there is a substance in the acrylic that is very strong and can burn badly (two of my friends went and their own nails were burnt completely off underneath!) good luck! x

I wouldn't suggest to try anything what you can glue up at home, or what you can do for yourself - as it is really hard to do, the risk of any infection is high. You should find a nice technician who can do gel or acrylic nails for you. These nails will be durable, you only need to refill in every 2-3 weeks, depends if your nails grow fast or not,and you can avoid the infections, also you can have decorations etc.
I hope you will find the best way to have these nails!
