I've never had fake nails before and I just got them yesterday for my trip to NC tomorrow. They felt fine until I woke up in the morning and the tips of my fingers felt all achy. Is this normal?
yes, you must of been scratching hard or something or the glue is giving yoiu a reaction to your nails. just calm down and if it doesnt go away by tommorow tell your mom or dad.
Yes it's normal. They will be a little sore and irritated for a couple days then it will go away. When you get a fill that won't happen because they won't have to do as much.
It is NOT normal for nails to hurt. If your nails hurt, then your nailtech is dong something WRONG.
I would be willing to bet that where you go they use a dremel with a sanding band and are drilling rings of fire on your nails.
RUN, do not walk, from those places. They are filthy dirty and they have NO clue how to do nails.
Why would anyone put up with pain getting their nails done?
Come see me....
buenos dias,
Lynnette <-- shaking her head at the thought of anyone thinking that is RIGHT to have nails hurt... OMG....

Hi! Lucy here.
Look soemtimes when you get Acrylic nails some products that are used like the "primer" which is an acid that eats into your nail bed will cause pain and this is an adverse reaction.
If you experience pain after a nail overlay normally is because of a reaction to primer, liquid monomer and the overfilling done on your nails. It is not normal and I advice you do not get that sort of overlay. Try instead Diamond Nails, Silk Nails or Fiberglass Nails. This sort of overlays have shown not to commonly cause allergic reactions because there is no primer being used directly onto your nails. Se how you go... Hope this helps you. Kind regards, Lucy
