how to remove acrylic nails at home without acetone?

how can i take off my acrylic nails without acetone? theyre starting to look crappy and i only have acetone free nailpolish remover.

what can i go besides pry them off?
id get acetone, im too embarrassed to go out and buy some because my nails look absolutely hideous because i already chipped a few off and its taking longer than it usually does for me to remove them myself and i dont feel like doing it anymore =[
